Day One

Morning

Start your day at Blue Ridge, our farm-to-table artisanal buffet. Blue Ridge offers a variety of breakfast items, with select lunch and dinner buffets, hosting many options to fit your dining preferences. Enjoy The Morning Table breakfast buffet with a scenic view of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. The Morning Table buffet consists of two massive rooms filled with delicious breakfast options, including a yogurt bar, omelet station and gluten-free alternatives.

Once you’ve finished breakfast, head to our Concierge desk and begin The Omni Grove Park Inn’s Audio History Tour. Our self-guided history tour covers the alluring history of E.W. Grove, the construction and early years of the resort, our Arts & Crafts style furniture collection and some of our most notable guests. Wear comfortable shoes, as this tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and consists of walking and long periods of standing. Don’t forget to bring your own headphones, but don’t worry if you don’t; phone adapters and headphones are available for purchase in the Marketplace. For those looking to keep up with their morning workout, check out our Sports Complex. Our Sports Complex offers indoor and outdoor tennis courts, pickleball courts, an indoor pool, fitness club, cardio room, table tennis and pool tables. It also offers a wide variety of fitness classes, ranging from Aqua Fit to Flow Yoga, providing any intensity of fitness to suit your needs.

Afternoon

Time for lunch! Named after a notorious guest of the hotel, head on over to EDISON, craft ales + kitchen. EDISON is an inventive bar and restaurant that brings together the food culture and local flavors of downtown Asheville, with expansive indoor and outdoor seating and spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. EDISON’s menu consists of regionally-inspired food in a contemporary, fun, and artistic environment. EDISON also offers a delicious and healthy Junior Chef menu, making it the perfect place to grab a family lunch. Grab a drink or two at the EDISON bar featuring North Carolina craft beers, small batch bourbons and handcrafted cocktails. 

For a refreshing outdoors walk, start our on-property Sunset Trail. The Sunset hiking trail travels within our property up Sunset Mountain and is perfect for all ages and skill levels. The Sunset Trail opened in 1913 alongside the hotel to offer guests an accessible form of exercise and an escape into nature. Don’t forget your hiking boots or a pair of protective, comfortable shoes. In the case of inclement weather, head over to our Sports Complex. The Sports Complex offers a variety of indoor activities, including tennis and pickleball. Reserve a court and play a match or two.

After a relaxing hike, take the short walk over to a nearby art and history destination, Grovewood Village. Grovewood Village is a historic site that once housed weaving and woodworking operations for Biltmore Industries, an American craft and textiles company. Now, Grovewood Village offers beautiful art and crafts for purchase, historic tours of their rich craft heritage, and the ability to get a close look into artist’s studios. Grovewood Village is also home to the Estes-Winn Antique Car Museum, allowing you to see vintage automobiles, including a rare 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham.

Evening

After a day full of adventure and exploration, there's no better way to unwind than with dinner and drinks at the stunning Sunset Terrace. Our charming dining spot is renowned for its exquisite hand-cut steaks, premium chops, and the freshest seafood that you won’t want to miss. Enjoy the picturesque view of the Blue Ridge Mountains during a sunset and have a truly unforgettable dining experience. To elevate your evening even further, be sure to explore the extensive wine and cocktail list. With its impressive selection, it's no surprise that Sunset Terrace is a proud five-time recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. To finish off your day, head inside from the porch to the Great Hall and find a seat near the 36-foot fireplaces. The Great Hall features the iconic Great Hall Bar. Relax by the fire and treat yourself to a dessert or signature cocktail. The Great Hall Bar features live music nightly, making it the perfect ending to your day.

Day Two

Morning

Time to get the day started! Head to the Marketplace to grab a quick bite or drink from Stance Coffee. Marketplace hosts a variety of convenient grab-and-go breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, as well as an impressive coffee and juice counter.

Once you’ve grabbed breakfast, hop on the shuttle and begin a round of golf at The Golf Course at The Omni Grove Park Inn. This legendary course has been played by PGA stars like Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus and even former President Obama. This course gives the feeling of pride and accomplishment after navigating the tree-lined fairways and bent greens, with the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains as your background. Afternoon

After an exhilarating round of golf, treat yourself to a wholesome lunch at the Spa Café! Open to everyone, the Spa Café serves up fresh juices, smoothies, protein shakes, artisan salads, specialty sandwiches, wraps, and more delicious options. Enjoy your meal indoors or by the picturesque outdoor waterfall.  

Now that you’ve had a clean lunch, head to The Spa Boutique to browse the large selection of our signature spa line, skin and body elixirs, clothing, gift baskets and more. Evening

After shopping, put on your favorite outfit and begin your elevated dining experience at Vue 1913. Vue 1913 is our comfortable yet stylish setting for a leisurely meal designed only with the love of food in mind. The brasserie-style format gives the chef the freedom to highlight the finest local, seasonal rustic ingredients, perfectly complemented by a diverse selection of wines from our well-established wine cellar. Did we mention it also features a stunning panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains?

To wrap up your perfect weekend, take the Vanderbilt elevator down to our very own dueling piano bar! Elaine’s Dueling Piano Bar allows you to sing and dance the night away as musicians entertain with music and comedy alike. Grab a drink and prepare for lots of tunes and laughter. Doors open at 8:30 PM and music goes until 1 AM with no cover needed! Bring your I.D., as you must be 21 or older to enter.
