Join Santa & Merry, the Shoreham Elf, for holiday fun with Victorian Carolers, hot chocolate, holiday cookies as the annual tradition of lighting the Omni Shoreham Christmas Tree takes place. Experience all things Merry & Bright with the holiday sparkle and warmth at the Omni Shoreham.Bikes are available for rental from 6:00 am to sunset. Enjoy a Giant hybrid bike to discover the local neighborhood of Woodley Park, Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle. Bike rentals are available for children ages 13 and older and subject to the child’s height.

Tai Chi is a low-impact, mind-body exercise that originated in China in the 12th century as a martial art and form of meditation. It involves a series of slow, gentle movements, physical postures, deep breathing, and a meditative state of mind. Tai chi is sometimes called "meditation in motion" because it's designed to harmonize the body's energy and mind.

Tai Chi Class is led by Master Nick Gracenin who has a rich 46-year career as a teacher of Qigong, Tai Chi, Chinese Yoga (Dao Yin) and Chinese Martial Arts.

· Apprenticed to many of the foremost Grandmasters in China and North America.

· Awarded medals for US Teams at 6 World Championships for Chinese Martial Arts.

· In 2012, awarded 10th degree Black Belt from the International Wushu Research Federation.

Join Omni Shoreham Hotel on Saturdays for a holiday afternoon tea that celebrates Alice and the marvelous 1865 English children's novel by Lewis Carroll, a mathematics fellow at Oxford University. The novel invites us into the story of a girl named Alice who falls through a rabbit hole into a fantasy world. And only in December, will the tea party enjoy a delight twist to feature peppermint and other flavors of the season. Savor the Mad Hatter Selection of savory & sweet finger sandwiches that include ham, brie & apple, cucumber, olive on focaccia, crab salad, strawberry cream cheese, chicken salad plus assorted scones served with raspberry jam, lemon curd, and clotted cream. Served with a selection of pastries and petits fours.

Merry, the Shoreham Elf has turned the Kids Craft Studio into a holiday workshop with festive holiday crafts for parents and their children to enjoy creating together. From custom friendship bracelets to bedazzled tote bags, there are options for all age groups. Merry the Elf also added her favorite holiday books to the reading corner.
