MEET THE CHEF OF OMNI TUCSON NATIONAL RESORT
Chef Jonathan Stutzman was born and raised in the mountains of Western Pennsylvania and grew up in the farm lifestyle of fresh produce and livestock. He brings his southern Appalachian style to the Omni Tucson National with fresh, local ingredients straight from the farm to your table.
Chef Stutzman attended Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA pursuing Business Management and continued on to earn a Culinary Arts degree from the Culinary Institute of New Orleans. While in Louisiana, Chef Stutzman studied classic French, Cajun and Creole cuisines under renowned chef Emeril Lagasse at Emeril’s Delmonico.
Chef Stutzman went on to re-open the Omni Bedford Springs Resort in Pennsylvania after a multi-year, complete restoration and renovation. He had also worked with Marriott Hotels and former “Top Chef” contestant Ron Duprat in Miami, Florida before returning to Omni Hotels & Resorts as Executive Chef here at the Omni Tucson National Resort.
