DR. LAUREN BEARDSLEY
Licensed Naturopathic Physician (N.M.D.)
Dr. Lauren Beardsley is a licensed Naturopathic Physician (N.M.D.) receiving her medical degree from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. Prior to medical school, she worked with the University of Arizona in Cardiovascular Research and Diabetic health as well as with Scottsdale Healthcare completing research in Family/Community medicine. She received postgraduate training in athletic performance optimization, pain management, women’s health and bio identical hormone replacement therapy.
Dr. Beardsley specializes in stress rehabilitation, mood disorders, hormonal optimization and pain management. As a certified practitioner trained in the Neuro-Endo-Immune Connection, Dr. Beardsley integrates her knowledge of how perceived stress directly affects the body’s biochemistry and physiology. She focuses on actively listening to those she works with as well as educating and working with each individual to generate a program that is custom-designed for each individual’s needs.
Dr. Beardsley also serves as the Chief Medical Director and Founder of Blocks of Health LLC, Wellness Medical Director with the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia Joya Spa and Chief Medical Director with Peace of Mind Healthcare Advocacy. She is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AzNMA) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Medicine (AAOM). Dr. Beardsley resides in Scottsdale, AZ and when not practicing medicine, she enjoys hiking/walking, yoga, blogging, cooking, traveling and hanging out with her husband, their daughter Leyla Jo and their black Labrador Logan.
DR. SAMAN REZAIE
Licensed Naturopathic Physician (N.M.D.)
Dr. Saman Rezaie is a licensed Naturopathic Physician (N.M.D), receiving his medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. Prior to his doctorate, Dr. Rezaie completed a master’s in Molecular Biology from University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). During his time at UTSA, he worked with multiple Division 1 teams in the Strength and Conditioning programs and was a Graduate Assistant to the Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology (pre-dental) from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.
Through personal challenges including weight gain and overall health decline during his Undergraduate career, Dr Rezaie decided to learn more about nutrition and lifestyle modification on his own time. He made changes to his diet, took up distance running and within a few months time, he lost 15 pounds and gained complete return of his health. Since this experience, he has maintained a passion for achieving health through diet and exercise, seeing how these changes can first hand revere dis-ease and optimize the body.
Dr. Rezaie specializes in sports medicine, pain management, prolotherapy, gastrointestinal concerns, auto-immune disorders and mood instabilities. Dr. Rezaie loves motivating people to achieve health through the power of choice.
