Featured Winemaker of the Month
Paul and Loretta Briedé, founders of Briedé Family Vineyards in Winchester, Virginia, established their vineyard in 2013 after purchasing the land in 2002. With a passion for great wine, they envisioned creating a sustainable vineyard that highlights Virginia’s terroir, producing about 1,000 cases of Estate Grown Wines. Their tasting room, in a former horse barn, opened in 2018 and offers their award-winning wines alongside French Champagnes and sparkling wines. Briedé Family Vineyards is one of the first producers of Arandell Grape Wines, and they are dedicated to exploring hybrid varieties like Marquette, La Crescent, and Pinot Meunier. Their innovative approach and commitment to the craft promise a distinctive tasting experience at their Winemaker dinners, showcasing the future of Virginia winemaking. With recognition from top critics, the Briedés continue to prioritize excellence in every aspect of winemaking. They are proud members of the Shenandoah Valley Wine Trail, Virginia Wine Growers Association, and look forward to dining with our Homesteaders for the Winemaker dinner on April 12th.
