Kid looking at pengquins

Nestled in the beautiful Rouge Valley and known as one of the largest zoos in the world, the Toronto Zoo is the perfect destination for the whole family. Dedicated to animal conservation, education and nurturing, the zoo has over 5,000 animals representing over 500 species. If you want to add a little extra exercise to the day, the zoo has over 10 km (six miles) of walking trails. Be sure to wear your comfy shoes! With seven gift shops and kiosks located throughout the site, the zoo is perfect for those of us who love to shop and return home with souvenirs and memories.
