Food & Beverage | We Actively:

• Reduce our carbon footprint by sourcing local food and beverages as often as possible
• Reduce the use of plastic water bottles for meetings and events with the use of water dispensers
• Harvest citrus grown on property to be converted into various brews
• Serve sustainability and ethically sourced Stance Coffee at Crave Cafe
• Vegan and vegetarian menu options available

Recycling | We Actively:

• Recycling bins available for guests on property
• Reduce the use of paper within our organization by converting processes to paperless systems
• Reduce the use of paper by offering a digital Resort Guides containing all resort programming and information to our guests

Air | We Actively:

• Work with partners to reduce our carbon footprint for procurement activities
• Plant and tend to trees on property

Energy | We Actively:

• Utilize energy-efficient LED light bulbs
• Remind associates to reduce HVAC usage
• Offer key card or motion controlled electricity in guest rooms and meeting spaces
• Encourage staff to use mass transportation and/or carpooling options
• Offer electric vehicle charging stations and bicycle parking
• Provide bicycles and e-bikes for guests to use

Water | We Actively:

• Reduce laundry services by changing bed linens and towels every three days, unless requested otherwise
• Utilize low flow toilets and showers
• Water efficient toilets installed in guestrooms
• Water efficient showers installed in guestrooms
• Landscape with native and low-water plants
• Offer a water bottle refill station in our Fitness Center, behind and infused water in the resort lobby daily
• Use reclaimed water to irrigate golf courses and water plants

Sustainably Phoenix | We Actively:

• Offer local activities to guests
• Invest a percentage of revenue back into community projects or sustainability projects
• Tours and activities organized by local hiking guides
• Invite local artists to perform live music and display their talents
• Develop resort programming and activities with local Pheonix area vendors and partners
• Work with local food and beverage partners
• Sell goods created by local artisans at Crave Cafe
• Respect the wildlife that lives near the resort
• Use pollinator-friendly plants for landscaping
• Give back by making donations to St. Mary's Food Bank through our program Say Goodnight to Hunger
