The Riverwalk

A river cruiser ride on the River Walk – taking in the beautiful cypress-lined paved paths, arched stone bridges and lush landscapes – is a must. Add to it the shops, bars and restaurants boasting exceptional Tex-Mex, barbecue, traditional Italian and contemporary Southwestern cuisine that line the water, and the River Walk is the perfect place to relax, unwind or let loose.

The Alamo - You’ll always remember the Alamo

You know some of the names – William Travis, Jim Bowie and Davy Crockett. For 13 days, 188 Texas defenders held the mission from more than a thousand of General Santa Anna’s troops in a fight for freedom. Today, The Alamo houses exhibits on the Texas Revolution and Texas History. Visitors can see artifacts including a Bowie knife, Crockett’s buckskin jacket and a rifle used to defend the fort.
