Eamon O’Brien to Lead All Sales and Marketing Efforts for Downtown Luxury Property
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 01, 2016) —
Omni Hotels & Resorts announced today the appointment of Eamon O’Brien as director of sales and marketing for the Omni Louisville Hotel. In this role, he will oversee all sales and marketing efforts including managing, developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies that drive group, catering, business and leisure travel revenue.
O’Brien joins the Omni Louisville Hotel from the Louisville Marriott Downtown where he served as the property’s director of sales and marketing. Prior to that, he was the director of sales and marketing for the Hyatt Regency Louisville. O’Brien has also held numerous leadership and managerial positions with the Marriott brand at several Chicago properties, the Hyatt Regency Chicago, and the Grand Hyatt New York.

The 30-story luxury property will reflect Louisville’s warmth and hospitality, while embracing and celebrating the city’s authentic quality and charm. The hotel will feature 612 finely appointed guestrooms and suites topped by 225 luxury apartments. The hotel will offer approximately 70,000 square-feet of flexible meeting and event space. Meeting and convention attendees will have access to an additional 300,000 square-feet of meeting and exhibit space at the Kentucky International Convention Center.
Additional features will include an all-day dining venue, lobby lounge, as well as an iconic
Bob’s Steak & Chop House as the hotel’s fine-dining establishment. Guests will enjoy an urban rooftop pool deck, fitness center, a Mokara signature spa, lobby art gallery and a Speakeasy with a bowling alley. O’Brien holds a bachelor of arts in marketing from DePaul University. He is a member of several leading travel organizations including Meeting Planners International and PCMA.
