The new swimming complex contains three pools: a renovated Adult Pool, a Kid’s Splash Zone with a splash pad; and new 3,600-square-foot family pool with a “walk in” zero entry and ledge seating along the dune line – all just steps away from private access to the Hilton Head beach. The transformation of the outdoor areas was completed in April 2013. Other renovations included lush landscaping and enhancements to the porte-cochere, cedar shake and wood accents, pendant lanterns and new lighting sconces at the hotel’s entrance; lounge-style concierge areas and vibrant-colored walls juxtaposed in the lobby; redecorated meeting space featuring “Carolina” porches; and the Ocean Tides Spa, refreshed as a full service salon with manicure, pedicure and hair stations.
