OMNI BARTON CREEK RESORT & SPA ANNOUNCES LINE-UP FOR BARTON CREEK LIVE SUMMER MUSIC SERIES, KICKING OFF JUNE 12 WITH THE BELLAMY BROTHERS

Six Legendary Performers, Including GRAMMY Award-Winning Shenandoah, to Perform Against Breathtaking Austin Hill Country Backdrop

AUSTIN, TX (May 4, 2015) – Today Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa announced the line-up for its third annual Barton Creek LIVE Summer Music Series. Situated in the Texas Hill Country just minutes from downtown Austin – the Live Music Capital of the World – Omni Barton Creek invites guests to catch the sounds of iconic musical performers this summer. Admission is open to resort guests and Barton Creek Country Club members only and wristbands, available at the resort front desk check-in and the member clubhouse, are complimentary and required for performance admission.

This year’s Barton Creek LIVE will be held at the resort’s open-air Pavilion and features six shows throughout the summer. Music enthusiasts can spread out around the 6,000-square-foot rotunda or 40-foot observation deck to enjoy unforgettable music, while taking in incredible panoramic views of the Texas Hill Country. The summer series kicks off with the Bellamy Brothers on June 12 and the full line-up includes:

• June 12: Bellamy Brothers at 9 pm – Classic country music duo with more than a dozen chart topping hits.
• July 3: Guy Forsyth at 6 pm – Fabled Texas blues singer, guitarist, harmonicist and songwriter to headline July 4 weekend festivities.
• July 17: Sammy Kershaw at 9 pm – American country music artist with three studio albums certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. 
• July 31: Shenandoah at 9 pm – GRAMMY award-winning band who charms the hearts of country fans around the world.
• August 7: Restless Heart at 9 pm – Throughout their career, the band charted on both the country and adult contemporary charts. 
• August 14: Little Texas at 9 pm – They were responsible for shaking up the country music world with a new, energetic sound. 

Omni Barton Creek will offer a full bar and authentic Lone Star fare during the performances, or guests may dine earlier at the family-friendly buffet served nearby in the resort’s Hill Country Dining Room, as well as 8212 Wine Bar & Grill. During the show, parents can enroll their children, ages 5 to 14, in a campfire campout complete with fireside games, stories, songs and S’mores before heading indoors for a movie and snacks.

• Independence Day Fireworks Display: Omni Barton Creek invites guests to converge on the deck and lawn for the spectacular fireworks display over the Texas Hill Country on Friday, July 3 at 9:15 pm following the Red, White & Blue BBQ. 
• All American Poolside Cookouts: On the weekends of May 23-24 and July 3-4 from 11 am – 3 pm, guests can relish in favorite backyard delights while lounging by the pool.
